What is “Walking the Eight?”
Emerging science shows there are more neurites* in the heart center than in the brain. Our brains tend to be in a state of high beta-brainwaves aligned with our fight/flight responses.
Using a simple, mindful practice of the Infinity Wave, we can learn to move energy, change frequencies in order to quiet the mind. You’ll feel connected from the sun through the chakras down to the earth.

It’s in this present, heart-centered state that we are able receive information and guidance from our higher selves and God.
I originally learned this method from Sarita Sol, a shamanic practitioner featured in an interview with Astrologer Pam Gregory.
Sarita explained that “We have been programmed to use intellect and our brain for decisions rather than being heart-centered and in our bodies, in the present.”
At the center of this practice is understanding that we are mostly comprised of water. We are made of geometery and platonic solids which joining together make up the matter of who we are.
When you work with a symbol it can literally inform the matter of your being, opening up to light — the carrier of information through which water is our medium. Using these symbols together with very clear intentions, we can change the infrastructure of our bodies.
This practice, tool and intentions together have the ability to calm minds, balance the polarites within (divine femine and masculine) to bring a more balanced, whole you with a brighter perspective.
Our DNA is the integration of eights in rows that make two strands. The infinity symbol is the architeture of our soul, our wholeness and our balance.

When the balance within us is off, the extreme of the polarities can lead to physical, mental and emotional struggles. On the flip side, when you balance in this way, it is easier to make life decisions, to calm anxiety, to lower blood pressure and other healthy benefits.
Why is this a powerful tool?
The power of the walk (whether you physcially walk, meditate on the eight, visualize the eight) is reconnecting to the rythm of the Earth and organic life cycles. Getting back in touch with the Earth is key to this as many of us have been quite disconnected in our modern lives and therfore disconnected to ourselves.
“It feels like loads of people around the world have been receiving information about this symbol,” Sarita noted.
You do not need to have done any spiritual practice before to integrate the infinity into your life. It is a simple method and only takes three to five minutes, longer if you like. It is a practical tool whenever, where ever you want or need it.

In walking the eight, you will find answers to nagging questions, ways to forgive someone, bring about physical healing, work through deep grief, as well as manifest new intentions.
I recently asked my client to try this method. She was in a state of panic and grief. A few days later, here’s what she wrote to me.
“I walked the 8 last night for 20 minutes. It was my first time. I was super emotional crying pretty hard when I first started. Then something crazy happened. In about five minutes I felt the energy shift. I felt the weight lifted off me. I feel more happiness and joy inside. Still feeling it today. I can’t even tell you how long it’s been since I felt this way. I’m just like what the heck just happened?” Tasha happily explained.
The key is dropping out of the high beta-brain waves of fight or flight reactions into a higher frequency of alpha-brain waves and into a heart-centered perspetive. You’ll find it much easier to drop out of your head and into an expanded consciousness where you see things from many perspectives.
How to employ this practical tool
Understand, first, that this is a sacred walk. Be clear about your intentions for each walk, meditation, or visualizuation as you employ the infiinty symbol.
Place two rocks, stones, or crystals (whatever is handy as place markers) about one meter on either side of you (3-4 feet). Begin by holding your hands in a slightly different, uncomfortable position for just a few seconds. For example connect your third and fourth fingers to your thumb on each hand. This serves as a signal to the body .
Next, breath and hold the intention as you walk. You may do this with your eyes open, closed, whatever your body tells you. Listen to your body and let it react. Some dance as they walk, skip, clap, meditate, etc. while walking.
As you reach the knot of the eight, the center, understand that this is the neutral point. It is here that you will find a portal will open, downloads will enter and you will quickly begin making intuitive decisions from a higher consciuosness than that of ego.
Your intentions, actions and manifestations become heart-centered, out of love and are best for your soul, health and life.
Sarita explained that, “It’s like your ego and all your worries can’t cope with walking the infinity and they just start to disapear and bring you into the power of the moment.” The past and the future don’t exist in this neutral space, and there is ultimate healing is this zone.
Walking the eight brings you present and into perpetual motion which is natural for us being made of vibrational frequencies.
The wave and the particles simultaneously, physically move you out of fight/flight, fear-based programming. You drop into the body, into a higher consciousness, where you can unblock any potential obstacle to your highest potential.
Sarita has a beautiful Tibetan Heart Mediation available on her website. This meditation uses gratitude with the walk of eight to bring in a sense of peace into your life. Gratitude can transform many deep-rooted traumas, troubles and tribulations.

This practice teaches you to envision breathing the eight through your heart chambers, as the blood flows in a similar pattern.
If you are not feeling gratitude, Sarita advocates smiling as you begin the process of the Infinity Heart Meditation. The frequency of gratitude will attach to the two loops of the eight, enabling you to breath in a figure eight of gratitude through your heart center. This is a magical, free mediation which you may access on Sarita Sol’s website.
